Speed Training to Techno
Yesterday, my friend Lesha sent me this speed-training video. The quality is blah, but the content is great — lots of good ideas for drills. I think I’m faster for having watched it. Or maybe it’s just my eyes.

From what I can gather in the notes, the boys are hockey players from Quebec. For more information, see www.adaptsport.com. (Helps if you know French. Which I don’t.)
Points to anyone who can point out the klutzy kid. And, keep sending me fitness linky-loos! I l-l-l-like it!

That kid in the white shirt and black shorts was struggling a bit, wasn’t he?
Good stuff, too bad it’s so fuzzy. Hope you’re well out on the East Coast Jen.

Jes from Wisconsin! WELCOME! It’s been too long since you’ve … you know, been around.
Likin’ the East Coast a lot, but how I miss the rugby pitches in the Midwest. And you were right about the white top/black bottoms kid. I start tripping over the agility ladder when I’m tired, so I can’t even imagine what would happen with that many reps of hurdles. I’m glad you stopped by!

Great ideas in that vid! Some might just be incorporated into upcoming workouts.

Those drills are awesome but the music made me feel like I was in a sweet rave party.

Does anyone else take issue with the phrase “linky-loo?” In other news, I’m sadder every day that work took YouTube away when a “linky-loo” like this one is so clearly “da bomb.” Summary and/or diagrams, perhaps?

Kate,
No one else takes issue with linky-loo. It is fun to say or sing.
Greg,
Hmm, perhaps next Tuesday morning’s workout should have a clubbin’ theme. We’ll bring the glo sticks if you put on the techno.
