Shari Schumacher
Art Director
Shari has been art directing and designing publications in the Twin Cities
for more than 20 years. As a senior art director at Hanley-Wood Custom
Publishing, she led the redesign of the American Society of Interior Designers’s
trade magazine, ICON, and also has created catalogs and direct-mail
packages for a wide variety of corporate clients. She has been contributing her
creative designs to Experience Life since 2004.
Shari earned a BA in visual communication from the Minneapolis College of Art
and Design, and is a member of the Delano Artist Guild, which has featured her acrylic/mixed-media paintings.
When she’s not designing or painting, Shari enjoys bicycling, weight lifting,
yoga and singing in her bluegrass/country band, the Eclectic JARS. She lives in
Delano with her four kids, three cats and a beagle.
